Marc-André O’Rourke joined the National Airlines Council of Canada (NACC) in January 2012 and was appointed Executive Director in October 2013. In this role, he advocates for safe, secure, environmentally responsible and competitive air travel on behalf of Canada’s large air carriers: Air Canada, Air Transat, Jazz Aviation and WestJet. Prior to joining the NACC, O'Rourke was Assistant General Counsel with the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, the federal agency responsible for passenger and personnel screening. He also practiced law at the firm of Cox & Palmer with emphasis on insurance, litigation and employment matters and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
